January 28th 2009 - CALMzone @
Brew
CALM and Voodou hairdressers took over Brew at lunch
time on Wednesday to advocate the merits of taking a lunch
break. Research carried out by CALM suggests that 50% of
Liverpool office workers felt that they had been affected by
work related stress and that nearly half of those are spending 3
lunches or more at their desks!
Brew, CALM and Voodou offered free treatments and information to
customers as encouragement to try to spend at least 30 minutes
away from the desk each day.
December 16th 2008 - Brew hosts
the launch of Go Superlambananas: The Book
It was a great night for all concerned as artists,
culture company dons and the great man himself, Taro, turned up
to launch the only book that matters in Liverpool at the moment!
Thanks to Fiona and Guy for a great piece of work!

August 20th 2008 - BREW IS NOW
OPEN!!
Following our hugely successful and well attended launch we are
now officially open! Since we're the first tea bar in the UK
then you may need to practice a little bit, so here you go:
"one green tea latte to go please"
"Scouser's Breakfast and toast to go, hold the butter"
This month GQ's Style Shrink can be found
advising brew on how best to dress our staff. Clearly we don't
want to be like those stuffy coffee chains, and so the UK's
number one men's and fashion magazine was pretty much the only
place to go for advice. Get your copy now to see what they had
to say...
And in other news the runways for 2009 are showing a distinct
movement towards a revolution they're calling "tea bar
chic"...now where could the inspiration behind that have come
from?!
